Nurtured Heart Approach® for Guiding Intense and difficult behaviours

Course leader: Mags Wilcock, Director – Nurtured Child Practice Ltd and Nurtured Heart Approach® Practitioner

A two-part workshop with gap tasks. Participants must attend both sessions.

The essence of the Nurtured Heart Approach® is a set of core methodologies originally developed for working with the most difficult children. It has a proven impact on every child, including those who are challenged behaviourally, socially and academically.

The Nurtured Heart Approach has been shown to create transformative changes in children diagnosed with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder and other behavioural, emotional and anxiety related symptoms – almost always without the need for long-term mental health treatment. Even children experiencing social cognitive challenges, like Autism Spectrum Disorder and Asperger Syndrome greatly benefit from the Approach, reducing the need for traditional mental health and medical interventions.

Children get so much more – more relationship, more intense relationship – when things are going wrong. This is the foundational error in conventional ways of parenting and school discipline.

The Nurtured Heart Approach® will bring you to understand how your best efforts may actually fuel the fire of challenging behaviour – and how to make simple shifts that will change everything.

Learning outcomes:

  • How to build a child’s Inner Wealth by developing positive
  • Understanding the concept of The 3 Stands™ and how they
  • The purpose and benefits of using this approach with all Children
