Teaching schools are expected to diagnose and provide high-quality support to schools in need, by quickly matching supply and demand including identification of individuals with appropriate skills to provide high-quality support or training.
Our Strategic Board is made up of headteachers, LA officers, archdiocese and diocese representatives and Collaborative consultants and/or Chairs. We meet regularly throughout the year to discuss school performance using data and local knowledge in order to steer the work of our Alliance.
One of the most effective ways of achieving school improvement is by working with other schools. There are now many opportunities for school leaders and governors to work with and receive support from their peers. Support may be light touch or a more intensive intervention.
Schools can self refer and approach our Alliance directly for support. All interventions need to be funded either through grant funding or by the commissioning schools. There is a scale of charges, depending on the system leaders engaged for the support.
